Network Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Field incoming customer calls and maintain trouble ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot basic problems via telephone (Level 1 Support)
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems through discussion with users
  • Assist in management services for our clients including, but not limited to, server environments, client desktop environments and network infrastructure
  • Act as a support contact for specific applications / business solutions and emergency support
  • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure a well-coordinated implementation effort for other Accellis products and services
  • Monitor and document the progress of tickets within ConnectWise management system
  • Provide verbal and written communication with the highest level of professionalism

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in similar field
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Familiar with networking technologies including: Windows 2003 / 2008 Server including Active Directory, Windows Exchange Server, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP, POP3, Terminal Services including Citrix, Cisco Products, WAN/LAN Concepts
  • Knowledge of Windows Environments
  • Comfortable in a small firm environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with every level of client
  • Reliable transportation and clear driving record
  • Must be highly motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • SQL Certification desired, but not required

Systems Analyst / Consultant

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and training for one or more of the following management system categories (consultants are provided with necessary advanced training for each application):
    • Document Management including Worldox and NetDocuments
    • Practice Management including Amicus Attorney, Time Matters or Practice Master
    • Other various applications
  • Provide implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and training for one or more of the following management system categories (consultants are provided with necessary advanced training for each application):
  • Advise clients on best practices and procedures within their business operations
  • Provide in help desk support and end-user training on the above applications
  • Effectively estimate and manage project work to ensure completion in a timely manner
  • Communicate (written and verbal) with all levels of client resources in an effective and professional manner
  • Effectively self-manage your time, priorities and resources to deliver the highest standard of consulting services.
Requirements:
  • Computer Science degree and/or related work experience
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating system, networking terminology and database structures / functionality 
  • Understanding of business operations and desire to learn new technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal and technical skills
  • Comfortable interacting with management-level executives and attorneys
  • Self-starter who is able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision

Software Application Developer (Part-Time)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom database / web applications for new and existing clients
  • Create integration tools to publish enterprise system data to private client portals
  • Provide modifications, updates and corrections to newly created software applications
  • Effectively communicate with other developers, technical support staff, and business owners
  • Troubleshoot as needed
Required skills and hands on experience in:

  • Microsoft SQL
  • HTML, CS
  • Javascript
  • JQuery, IIS
